A Simple Explanation of Christianity
What do we believe? Why do we believe it?
Whether you’re looking for a church home, have questions about Christianity, or are simply curious, we would love to have you join us!
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Collinsville
Sundays, 9:15–10:15 a.m.
Beginning October 4, 2026
Church library, lower level
Explore the Christian faith as we teach it in the Lutheran Church, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Together, we’ll discuss:
- What is the Bible, and why does it matter today?
- Who is Jesus, and what has He done for us?
- What do the Ten Commandments teach us about God and our everyday lives?
- What is the Gospel, and how are we saved?
- What is Baptism, and who should be baptized?
- What is the Lord’s Supper, and what does God give us through it?
This class also prepares those who wish to become members of Good Shepherd. You are welcome to come and learn without making a commitment to join. No previous knowledge is needed. Come and bring your questions!
Have children? They are welcome to attend Sunday School while you’re in class.
Finding the room: Park in the lower lot and enter through the lower-level doors, or come through the church’s main entrance and we’ll help you find the library.
