LWML is continuing to collect baby items for Orphan Grain Train. Still in need of the following items : 6 Baby washcloths, 18 onesies and 12 regular baby blankets. The box is in the

All Ladies are welcome to attend the LWML program on Saturday, September 5th starting at 9a.m. in the fellowship hall.

For the months of September thru November LWML will have a collection for Love Packages. there will be a box in the connecting hallway to receive the following items: Bibles, Christian magazines, Daily devotions, Sunday school material, cd's and dvds. 40 Days for Life is a 40-day prayer vigil outside Planned Parenthood in many communities. This year Good Shepherd’s Day for the 40-Day campaign is Saturday, Sept 26 at Planned Parenthood, Fairview Heights. God hears our prayers! During the total 40-Day campaign babies are saved. The Life Team hopes this fall you will join us in this powerful experience helping us pray to save babies’ lives.
MELHS is taking applications for the position of School Secretary here at our Edwardsville campus. The position is full-time (August thru May) and reports to the Principal of the school. The start date would be January 4,2027 following the retirement of our current school secretary. Volunteers are needed from Good Shepherd to drive and deliver Meals On Wheels for the Collinsville area for our elderly, disabled, and homebound community. Our church is responsible to deliver six weeks of the year Monday through Friday rotating with nine other local churches, one week every two months. Deliveries are from approximately 10 AM to 11:15 AM. If you can volunteer in this way, either regularly or as a substitute and would like to know more, please contact Tamara Tucker-Lindsey at 618-806-3062 or by emailing ttlindsey@att.net. Thank you.
