LCMS Foundation: A good gift plan within an estate includes inheritance for family and gifts to ministry. As you consider an estate gift to your favorite ministry, should you talk with ministry leaders in this planning? St. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 9, that the use of God’s gifts can well up into God’s people rejoicing and giving thanks together. If you let a ministry leader know of your intended future gift, you can join together in rejoicing, thank God and praise Him for His grace. Your LCMS Foundation Gift Planning Counselor can help.
