Cardinals Game – Good Shepherd Lutheran School students currently in K-8th grade will sing
God Bless America on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 at 6:45 p.m. The cost is $20 per ticket. Adults & Students MUST purchase a ticket from GS if they want to sing with us. No outside tickets for singers. Good Shepherd Lutheran School Music Program receives a profit of $3.59 per ticket sold, provided we sell all of our tickets (300). PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE spread the word to friends/co-workers/neighbors. ANYONE can buy tickets from us and help us with this fundraiser! Youth Yard Sale is Coming!!! It's time for Spring Cleaning! The Youth Group is having their annual yard sale! It's time to clean out your closet and home to donate! We are collecting these items starting Sunday,
May 31st: Household items, furniture, tools, toys, kitchen items, books. No TVS or computers. Only items in good condition. We will be collecting soft goods from May 31st - June 3rd. Please put clothing, towels,
bedding, shoes, belts into kitchen bags labeled “SG”. We will not accept these bags after Wednesday, June 3rd. Last, be sure to stop by and find some treasures from our sale June 5th and 6th!

VBS Registration is Open: Registration is open! Register students three years old and potty trained through those students entering sixth grade today for an island adventure on Tropical Trek at this year's Vacation Bible School! Join us June 22 - June 26 for a week of fun, faith, and discovery as we learn how Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Registration is limited, so be sure to register your students early!

MELHS Spring Pops Concert - Looking for a special way to celebrate Mother’s Day? Join the MELHS Music Department for our Spring Pops Concert on Sunday, May 10 at 4:00 PM in Henschen Alumni Hall. Enjoy performances by the Chorale, Honors Choir, String Ensemble, and Concert Band featuring music from Frozen, The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera, Enchanted, Billy Joel, and more. A dessert reception will follow, bring your sweet tooth! A free-will offering will be taken to support the MELHS Music Department.
Please join the Women's Christian Fiction Book Club at Panera in Collinsville on the May 18th to discuss The Good Nearby, by Nancy Moser. You can come for dinner at 6:00 or arrive at 6:30 for the book discussion.
Blood Drive: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and School are once again holding a Blood Drive on Monday, May 11th, from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Impact Blood Center’s Mobile Bus unit will be on the front parking lot. If you are unable to donate on Monday, May 11, it is open at the Impact Center in Fairview Heights. Just call Ashley at 314-715-1603 to set up an appointment and to get credit for Good Shepherd. If we have 20 viable units donated the school will receive a grant for $275 to be used for P.E. and recess equipment. This program has been very beneficial for our physical education programs!!!
Teacher Openings: Good Shepherd Lutheran School is Now Accepting Applications for a Preschool Position. Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Collinsville, Illinois, is seeking dedicated Christian educators to join our teaching team for the 2026–2027 school year. Our school serves preschool through grade 8 with an enrollment of 404 students, and we are currently seeking a teacher for our Preschool Young 3’s. This is a part-time position.
