Holy Baptism for Lucas James Clayton, son of Matthew & Olivia Clayton, is at the 10:30 a.m. service. Please help in welcoming Lucas into our Good Shepherd home!

Confirmation 2026The Confirmation Questioning Service will be next Friday, April 24th at 7:00 p.m. The
reception will be immediately following the service. The Confirmation Service will be at our 10:30 a.m. Worship Service on April 26th.

Youth Yard Sale is Coming!!! Start collecting items for the annual yard sale!
We hope to have a clothing drive at the same time
! Begin
dropping off items May 31st after Bible Class.

VBS Early Registration is Open - Early registration is open! Register students three years old and potty trained through those students entering sixth grade today for an island adventure on Tropical Trek at this year's Vacation Bible School! Join us June 22 - June 26 for a week of fun, faith, and discovery as we learn how Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Registration is limited, so be sure to register your students early!

VBS Volunteers Needed: In order for VBS to be successful, we need a minimum of 40 adult volunteers. Without a commitment from adult volunteers, student registration will be limited. There are endless ways to serve, so whether you feel called to teach, lead a group of students, help with snacks, decorate, or something else, please go to  myvbs.org/vbs-2026-7534 to register today to serve at VBS 2026. Lunch Bunch: April Lunch Bunch will be on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Oaxaca Mexican Restaurant in Edwardsville. The address is: 6185 Bennett Dr, Edwardsville, IL 62025.Please call Linda Luebbert at 618-830-8189 and let her know if you are planning on attending.

Blood Drive: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and School will be sponsoring the Impact Blood Center Blood Drive on Monday, May 11 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The Blood Center has offered us the opportunity to give blood at their blood center in Fairview Heights if the May 11 date does not work for you. If we have 20 viable units donated the school will receive a grant for $275 to be used for P.E. and recess equipment. This program has been very beneficial for our physical education programs!!! Please mark your calendar and more information will be coming in May.

Teacher Openings: Good Shepherd Lutheran School is Now Accepting Applications for a Preschool Position. Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Collinsville, Illinois, is seeking dedicated Christian educators to
join our teaching team for the 2026–2027 school year. Our school serves preschool through grade 8 with an enrollment of 404 students, and we are currently seeking a teacher for our Preschool Young 3’s. This is a parttime position. We seek teachers who model their faith daily, demonstrate leadership, and share a love for children and teaching.

FREE MEN’S WORKOUT — COMING TO GOOD SHEPHERD! Calling all men 18 and over! A FREE men’s workout is launching at Good Shepherd on Monday April 20th, and you’re invited.  
Outdoor Bootcamp Style Workout: 5:30–6:15 AM
Every Monday morning - Lower Level Parking Lot
All physical abilities are welcome, just show up ready to work.
Wear weather‑appropriate workout clothes and a pair of work‑style gloves.
After the workout, stay for Men’s Bible Study from 6:30–7:30 AM if you are able — great time for fellowship and growing together in faith.
F3 workouts are always: Free, Open to All Men, Held Outdoors Rain or Shine, Peer Led & Always End in a Circle of Trust.
