Teacher Openings: Good Shepherd Lutheran School is Now Accepting Applications for K–8 Teaching Positions Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Collinsville, Illinois, is seeking dedicated Christian educators to join our
teaching team for the 2026–2027 school year. Our school serves preschool through grade 8 with an enrollment of 404 students, and we are currently seeking teachers for Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 3, Grade 4, and Grade 6. Good Shepherd is a Christ-centered community devoted to providing excellent academic instruction and faithful Christian training for the lambs of our Good Shepherd. We seek teachers who model their faith daily, demonstrate leadership, and share a love for children and teaching. Qualified applicants should hold at least a bachelor’s degree in education and a valid teaching license. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential. Table of Friendship is designed to provide GSLC members social time together to become better acquainted with each other. Five or six people (couples or individuals) are grouped together for three months. During that time they will take turns planning/hosting a dinner, brunch or lunch with the others in their group. The
hosting person(s) decides whether to hold their event in their home, at a restaurant, at a park, etc. If the meal is in a home, it could be a potluck with the host providing the main dish and the others providing the side dishes.
