5th and 6th Grade Youth

5th & 6th Grade Youth meet on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of every month from 6-7:30 p.m.  We spend time at each meeting playing games, having devotions and sharing refreshments.  Our goal for this group is to have them see the church as a place to meet friends and to have a good time.  And hopefully along the way they will grow a little in their faith journey!

We have 2 off site activities each year.  In the fall we have a bonfire and cookout.  In the summer we have a swim party.  Another fall tradition is our neighborhood scavenger hunt. 

An annual winter event is our Mini-Retreat held the 3rd Sunday in January.  On that night youth group goes from 6-11 p.m  We order pizza, have Bible Study, spend some personal devotion time, eat lots more snacks and have the mandatory Dodge Ball Challenge!

Parent volunteers play a vital role in this ministry and are very appreciated.
